NY TRI EXPO will feature wearable tech!
Did you know that triathletes are also technophiles?
On March 19 from 10 – 6 pm at Citi Field in NYC, we are hosting the NY TRI EXPO ’16. The event is geared for runners, swimmers, cyclists and triathletes but there is something for everyone at the event. It will be a great for newbies and experienced triathletes as well. So if you are interested in any of the three disciplines or thought about doing your first triathlon, you may want to check it out!
Recently HJMT conducted a study on triathletes and found that 61% of all triathletes surveyed said they own a fitness device. 42% said they own a wearable device.
We plan on having wearables and wearable demonstrations at the NY TRI EXPO. In addition to that, we have a ton of workshops and seminars lined up too. They include:
- How to run faster off the bike
- 5 Tips to a faster swim leg
- Yoga for triathletes
- Combatting race anxiety
- The Ironman experience
- How to hit your potential on the bike
- Tri Gear – What to buy to make you go faster
- And more…
Workshops and seminars will be mostly done in panels but some will be solo. We even have an athlete who swam the English Channel and will be sharing his experience with the group!
Tickets are available and are currently discounted at $25. (BTW, this includes parking and the swag bag will be worth over $100!)
